Carol Ann (Peach) Lasselle, of Merrimack, NH died peacefully following a lengthy illness on January 15, 2019 at the Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare in Nashua.
Carol was born in Melrose, MA on November 10, 1939, a daughter of the late Melvin D. and Anne (Bean) Peach.
Mrs. Lasselle was the wife of Jon E. Lasselle, and they had just celebrated 60 years of marriage this past September.
She grew up in Wakefield, MA and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. Following her graduation from high school, she attended St. Lawrence University, Class of 1971.
She is remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She enjoyed gardening and yard work. Carol and her husband Jon enjoyed traveling and camping. They spent much of their retirement driving their camper back and forth across the country to visit their sons, including 5 trips to Alaska.
Carol had several careers throughout her life, including the Nashua Public Library and their Bookmobile and she owned her own home cleaning service.
She and her husband have been longtime members of the Unitarian-Universalist Church in Nashua. Carol had also served as the church’s sexton for many years, and began recycling at the church and home long before it was fashionable.
Carol, her husband and family are extremely appreciative of the love and support they have received from her church family, her friends and neighbors. They have helped them tremendously through this journey.

I will miss her quick smile and easy to talk to attitude. We remember Carol's recycling long before it's time. The ty-dying at ferry beach was always a favorite with Carol.
