Linda Muriel Laquerre, 74, of Merrimack, died on Saturday, January 12 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She passed away after a courageous three-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Her family was by her side as she peacefully took her leave.

Linda was born in Nashua on October 4, 1944 to the late Stephen and Eva Jeglinski. She attended Nashua public schools and graduated from Nashua High School with the class of 1962. She married Conrad Laquerre on February 23, 1963 and they shared 49 wonderful years together as husband and wife until he passed away in February of 2012.

Linda was a wonderful mother who was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She returned to work when her children were in school, enjoying many years as a receptionist at Indian Head Bank and later at Gottesman & Hollis from where she retired. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings, baking, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Linda and Conrad traveled extensively with family and friends but it was their summer home on Lake Winnisquam where she was happiest, the site of many family reunions and good times.

Linda is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Leslie Campbell and her husband Donald Campbell of Goffstown, and Andrea Laquerre and her husband Mackey Pendergrast of Mendham, NJ; and her son, Matthew Laquerre of Manchester; two grandsons, Jack and Robbie Pendergrast of Mendham, NJ; siblings and their spouses Shirley Estes, Joanne Sorice, Nancy Charron, Danny & Disa Jeglinski, Kevin & Sally Jeglinski, her brother-in-law, John Laquerre of Nashua, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her special friend Claude Dumais. In addition to her parents and husband, three siblings predeceased Linda - Virginia Creteau, Stephen Jeglinski, and Carl Jeglinski.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be on Friday January 18, 2019 from 5 – 8pm at Davis Funeral Home on 1 Lock Street, Nashua, NH 03064. I'll always remember Aunt Linda and Uncle Connie from my youth. Always laughing, smiling and having a wonderful time at childhood Birthday parties and Christmas's. Every so often I watch old home movies and am stunned by her sparkling beauty and goofy humor (that her big brother, Carl inherited too). She was a beauty until the end. Love, Amy Jeglinski-Osborne and Andrew Osborne

Dear Andrea, Leslie, Matt and families, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. I worked with Linda at Gottesman & Hollis and she shared her love of her family with everyone. I spend many times at craft fairs with her, especially the Bishop Guertin Christmas Fair. We had to get there early to obtain one of the sparkly snowmen she loved. There will always be a smile on my face when I think of her.

Love, stacy, paul and forrest
