Obituary for Thomas R. Kemp

Thomas R. Kemp passed away on December 29, 2018 in Merrimack, NH, 18 days after the death of his beloved wife, Brenda. Tom was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA, a son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Cusick) Kemp. He was also predeceased by his brothers John (Jack) and Howard Kemp and step-daughter, Cassie Lembke. He is survived by his granddaughter, Kayla of NH, brother Vincent of Pittsburgh and nephews.

Tom was a U.S. Army veteran having served as a guard at the Berlin Wall. He retired from United Airlines and is a graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Mortuary Science. Tom worked part-time at funeral homes in Pittsburgh, the Denver area and Nashua. Tom was a skilled woodworker and Brenda excelled in needlework. Together they enjoyed creating designs and displaying and selling at craft shows. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Wink Family and to Amedisys Hospice for the care and comfort they provided to Tom and Brenda. Funeral services in Pittsburgh will be private.
