Rock Romeo, 60, of Nashua, passed away peacefully at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital following brief battle with a recent illness, on April 10, 2017.
Mr. Romeo was born on December 27, 1956 in Nigeria and immigrated to the United States. He started his life in the states in Chicago, Illinois. Rock was educated in Chicago.
After leaving Chicago, Rock moved to Nashua. Throughout his career in Nashua, Mr. Romeo had owned several computer related businesses. Most recently, he had been working for Sears.
Fraternally, he was a member of Rising Sun Lodge #39, F & AM in Nashua. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Nashua, NH Consistory 32nd Degree and the York Rite Bodies.
Rock will be remembered for his kindness and friendship in the community. Rock was an active member in the Masonic community and Castro’s Back Room Cigar Shop. Rock was a man who brought smiles and conversation to those he interacted with. Those who knew him could not help but love him. Rock was a man of his word, who could always be counted on to assist others and lend a helping hand.
Rock lived a full life and made our lives full by being in it.
He is survived by his children, Romeoba Gariga, Apakawari Romeo and Eucariya Bob Manuael, all of Nigeria; his grandchildren, Favour Gariga, Desmond Gariga and Blessed Gariga; and his sister, Aliyah Mahmud of Pennsylvania.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Thursday evening, April 13, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. A Masonic Funeral Service by the officers and members of Rising Sun Lodge #39 will be held during visiting hours at 7:30 PM. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
